Thank you for everything over the past 2 weeks. I have learnt so much and met so many people who are amazing. Elephant has always been one of my favorite animals so to participate in wild elephant conservation in the Wasgamuwa region was an experience I’ll never forget.
Over the 2 weeks I got to see 14 elephants walking down the mountain, multiple elephants near the Tree House, a few drunk Sri Lankans yelling down the path and touched enough elephant dung for a life time.
Thanks for my birthday party. I will miss little Simba, all of the coordinators here and of course…SIRIYA!!
Thanks for being so organized and taking care of me throughout the two weeks. I wish you all (Chinthaka, Syriya, Sampath, Sarath, Supun and David) all the best in your future endeavours. It will most definitely be a lot more quiet and peaceful without me but I hope I made you laugh at least one.
Love to all; keep doing what you are doing,
Bye - Bye!

Hello Guys – just want to tell you that I had the best time in years! I love the house and in the morning when everything is quiet. I love watching the birds and having a great time. I love the walks in the bush very much. And everybody of the staff has been very kind and especially Syria, he knew a lot about the jungle. He knew all the sounds and all the prints of the animals. I really loved the Tree House where I spent many hours. I will never forget my first experience with elephants and because of that I want to thank you all very much. I hope this project will succeed and grow better with the help of a lot of volunteers. T
Special thanks to Chathuranga and Sarath and Supun and also Prasanthie and of course Chinthaka. Thanks for the good times and Leela thank you for the good meals – it was great food.
Love you all,
Truus
